Assisted needy veterans with mortgage/rent payments, utilities, food and other assistance. This included financial assistance to needy veterans and their families through Post funds and donations to the Post. The Post Veteran's Officer (PSO)working with Volunteers for Hospitalize Veterans (V4HV) located at the Denver Veterans Hospital, identifies needs of hospitalized veterans and their families as well as local area veterans needing assistance. Upon validation of need by the V4HV the PSO prepares a check using Post funds and delivers it to the third party recipient owed the funds by the veteran. Food or transportation debit cards are provided directly to the veteran. Also includes supporting American Legion and other programs providing assistance to Legion members and other veterans and their families.

Assist the youth and community through sponsored American Legion Programs including Boys State, Oratorical Contest, Legion Baseball, scholarships (3) , participated in community events on Memorial Day (2), Veterans Day, Littleton Western Welcome Week Parade, Fourth of July parade. Support local organization including the Boy Scouts, Special Olympics, Toys for Tots and Muscular Dystrophy Association. Through the National organization, the Post supports the National Welfare Association, the Child Welfare Association, the National Emergency Fund and child Welfare Fund.
