GALA produces a Leadership Symposium annually except in the year of festival. The 2023 Leadership Symposium was held online so that all of our member choruses could participate regardless of financial circumstances. Workshops were offered on a variety of board development fundraising and planning topics led by Toni Capra a BoardSource certified instructor.

GALA provides a free consulting service for its member choruses referred to as the GALA 411 program. The advisors available under the program are highly experienced individuals in the areas of artistic excellence board and other administrative matters and equity access and belonging programs. The consultants are available for phone or virtual consultations or in-person meetings or retreats. GALA pays for the adivsors time; if travel is required the member chorus pays for the travel and lodging expenses. During 2023 eleven of our member choruses utilized the 411 program.
