AWC has only one program to operate a crisis pregnancy center to provide free pregnancy testing factual information and knowledge counseling training and tangible assistance to pregnant teens women and their babies. This year for Jan 1-Dec 31 2023: 194 new files have been opened with 124 positive pregnancy tests we continued to serve financial needs in the amount of $81,175 and other related baby supplies for 1,458 clients. Clients are offered guidance in seeking obtaining medical care Medicaid legal advice additional training and adoption. Based on our client needs we offer tangible assistance in the form of maternity baby clothes 34,103 units diapers 110,274 units wipes 115,467 units formula 222 units food 12,362 units. Baby equipment such as breast pumps baby furniture: strollers cribs playpens swings layettes car seats high chairs walkers and other miscellaneous accessories in the amount of 7,135 units of baby equipment. Temporary housing is offered in a family setting through Shepherding Homes. We saved 72 babies in 2023.
