The Joe Barnhart Bee County Library strives to be the learning crossroads of our community and the place to visit for lifelong interest in the discovery of ideas, the joy of reading, and the power of information. THE ORGANIZATION MAINTAINS OPERATING HOURS SO THE GENERAL PUBLIC CAN MAKE USE OF THE FACILITY. SEVERAL CHILD AND ADULT CONTINUING EDUCATION EVENTS AND CLASSES (EARNING BY LEARNING, SEVERAL COMPUTER/INTERNET USE CLASSES, ETC.) WERE MADE AVAILABLE, AND ATTENDED, THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. MEMBERSHIP, IN THE WAY OF LIBRARY CARDS ISSUED, INCREASED BY 599 FOR THE YEAR. THE ORGANIZATION IS CONTINUALLY APPLYING FOR VARIOUS GRANTS SO AS TO CONTINUE TO IMPROVE AND EXPAND THE SERVICES AVAILABLE FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
