In 2025, EJC successfully litigated employment cases on behalf of workersenforcing their rights to remedy employment law violations. EJC recovered a total of $1,406,869 in employment judgments and settlements during the calendar year. This includes $1,030,289.83 in unpaid wages and damages recovered by clients who suffered non-payment of wages, employment discrimination, retaliation, and other employment violations. EJC also recovered $338,381.82 in attorney fees that employers were required to pay through fee-shifting statutes in which EJC and our clients acted as private attorneys general. The EJC has also had profound ongoing success with the immigration legal aid we provide for working immigrants. The expertise and efficiency of our immigration legal services continue to be life-changing for our worker clients including DACA recipients, and victims of labor trafficking, sexual assault, and other crimes.

A uniquely specialized aspect of EJCs employment right legal assistance consists of legal aid for survivors of sexual assault. In 2025, EJC continued to help survivors combat sexual assault and sexual harassment in the workplace, providing legaladvice and counsel, and obtaining monetary and other legal remedies for victims and providing economic stability to their recovery.
