HERITAGE HALL ANNEX: CONSRUCTION OF THE HERITAGE HALL ANNEX CONTINUED DURING THE FIRST 8 MONTHS OF FY 2023. THE FY 2023 COSTS WERE added to total WORK-IN-PROCESS carried to-date. THE FINAL PAYMENT TO OUR CONTRACTORS WAS MADE ON MAY 8, 2024. TOTAL COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN, ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION COSTS FROM 8-12-2020 TO 5-8-2024 WAS $832,798. FORT SILL GARRISON ACCEPTED THE ANNEX AS A GIFT. THE ASSET WAS REMOVED FROM THE CHAPTERS BALANCE SHEET AND EXPENSED AS A GIFT VALUED AT $832,798 ON 5-9-2024. Construction and gifting occurred in the ordinary course of the Chapters exempt activities to accomplish the Chapters exempt purpose to preserve the history and archives of the Artillery Officer Candidate School. Ft. Sill Garrison and its Field Artillery Museum are part of the Department of the Army and are not related to Artillery OCS Alumni Chapter, Inc.

ALL HISTORY AND LEGACY ACTIVITIES WERE PERFORMED BY VOLUNTEER GRADUATES AND FRIENDS OF THE ARTILLERY OFFICER CANDIDATE SCHOOL. NO SALARIES OR PAID EMPLOYEES. SCHOLARSHIPS: THE OCS ALUMNI CHAPTER CONTRIBUTED $3,300 TO THE CAMERON UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION FOR THE ARTILLERY OCS ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP IN LEADERSHIP WHICH THE CHAPTER ESTABLISHED IN FY 2020. THE FUNDS ARE INTENDED TO BE USED FOR THE BENEFIT OF ROTC CADETS ENROLLED AT THE UNIVERSITY WHO ARE SEEKING A COMMISSION IN THE US ARMY. THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS PLAN TO CONTRIBUTE AT LEAST $4,000 TO THE FUND ON A YEARLY BASIS, WITH ADDITIONAL FUNDS ADDED IF FEASABLE.
