Operating on its own property since 1999, the school is located beside a creek, southeast of White Rock Lake, and includes an award-winning discovery garden and pond on wooded acreage which creates an outstanding outdoor learning environment. The school serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade 8. The school's academic program is based on an individualized, self-paced course of study in several academic disciplines including literature, algebra, history, foreign languages, visual and performing arts and botany. The school encourages students to develop skills in goal-setting, time management, independence and personal accountability. Classroom teachers have Montessori training credentials in addition to college degrees.
