THE DALLAS MARGARITA SOCIETY (DMS) COLLECTED AND DISTRIBUTED TOYS VALUED AT $40,740 TO DISADVANTAGED KIDS ATTENDING THE LOVE FOR KIDS CHRISTMAS PARTY. THE PARTY, HAVING OVER 3,000 UNDERPRIVILEGED KIDS, IS BY INVITATION ONLY AND GROUPS ARE INVITED THROUGH LOCAL RECREATION CENTERS, SCHOOLS, AND OTHER AGENCIES FROM A MASTER LIST THAT HAS BEEN ACCUMULATED OVER MANY YEARS. CHILDREN BETWEEN THE AGES OF 6-12 ENJOY A DAY OF ENTERTAINMENT, HORSEBACK RIDING, OUTDOOR GAMES, HAY-RIDES, BUBBLE BOUNCE, CARNIVAL GAMES, FOOD AND PRIZES. THE REMAINING TOYS VALUED AT $128,415 WERE DISTRIBUTED TO VARIOUS OTHER ORGANIZATIONS DEDICATED TO HELPING UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN IN TEXAS. DMS DONATED AN ADDITIONAL $6,000 IN CASH TO LOVE FOR KIDS, AN ORGANIZATION WHICH HOSTS OVER 3,000 CHILDREN FROM ALL ETHNIC GROUPS FOR THE LARGEST CHRISTMAS PARTY FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN IN TEXAS.
