The Montessori Academy of Arlington provides authentic Montessori education for children ranging from 6 weeks to 12 years old with an enrollment of approximately 207 students. During the 2024-25 school year, we recruited and hired a new Head of School who started in July 2025. We have 12 classrooms which each containing a full complement of Montessori materials. Students are in self-paced, independent learning environments and guided by credential-holding Montessori adults. Our fifth and sixth year students take a culminating trip to the Nature's Classroom Institute in New Elm, Texas to experience immersive math, science, culture, and creative education in a nature-based environment. Sixth year students also participate in designing and implementing a community-service based leadership project.

The Montessori Academy provided a summer Montessori program for approximately 136 students, During the 2025 summer, elementary students explored topics such as cooking, Middle Ages history, plants and animals in Texas, continent studies, and different careers. Infant, toddler, and early childhood students enjoyed their classroom materials as they do throughout the year with enrichments such as water days, outdoor exploration, and other exciting activities,.
