Dancing with the Dettes (DWD) Dancing with the Dettes is a twice/year event where mostly elementary-aged school children in the community pay the organization to "dance with the Highladettes" all day. DWD is generally offered once a semester on a 'teacher-in service' day where there is no school. Fall DWD Participants get to perform on the football field with the Highlandettes, while spring dwd participants are invited to perform a dance for REVUE.
