Counseling and Case Management: Our licensed and licensed associate counselors provide individual and group trauma therapy through various modalities. During FY 2024, counselors of The Turning Point provided 4,499 hours of counseling to 284 survivors of sexual violence.

Advocacy and Volunteer Program: The Turning Point staff trained 42 individuals to be certified advocates through the Office of the Attorney General to provide care and support to survivors of sexual violence. Our advocates provide medical accompaniment to sexual assault forensic exams as well as crisis intervention on our 24/7 hotline, legal advocacy and accompaniment, assistance with crime victims rights and compensation and case management services. We provided assistance to 1366 individuals and 2600 hours of care and support. Staff and volunteers also responded to 1486 calls on the 24/7 crisis hotline.

Forensic Nurse Program: Our forensic nursing program delivers sexual assault forensic exams (SAFE) to victims of sexual assault to 28 community hospitals and university health clinics and our community-based forensic clinic, Courtneys SAFE Place (CSP). CSP is one of two forensic clinics in the State of Texas operated by a rape crisis center. CSP provides a safe and trauma-informed environment to conduct sexual assault exams to survivors of sexual assault. The Nurses performed 443 sexual assault exams.
