Bat World Sanctuary is dedicated to the care, rehabilitation and release of injured bats as well as a sanctuary for non-releasable bats. This year we saved over 2074 bats nationally and internationally, created a nationwide Bat Pack educational program, hosted interns from across the USA, mounted a bat condo at the Vietnam war museum with a 10,000 bat capacity, made history when bats began roosting in our man made Bat Castle, and saved hundreds of bats from botched exclusions.

As the only accredited sanctuary for bats in the world, we continue to collaborate with US Fish and Wildlife Department on efforts to control White Nose Syndrome. We educated interns from across the USA. We successfully campaigned to remove bats from restaurant menus in the Seychelles Islands. We continued collaborating with zoos, universities and government agencies in bat conservation efforts. We used social media and our website to educate the public on the value of bats, reaching millions of people around the world with positive information about bats.
