The Ellis County Children's Advocacy Center (ECCAC) provides critical child and family advocacy, including court-ordered supervised visitation, forensic interviews, therapeutic services, and family support for victims of commercial sexual exploitation, sexual abuse and assault, physical abuse and neglect, violent crimes, domestic violence, and child death investigations. ECCAC offers prevention education to students and the community, coordinates medical examinations, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team of law enforcement, Child Protective Services, prosecutors, medical professionals, and mental health providers to ensure comprehensive, developmentally and culturally sensitive care and justice for children and their families.
