TEXAS COUNTY AUDITORS ARE REQUIRED TO OBTAIN 40 HOURS OF CONTINUING EDUCATION IN EACH TWO YEAR APPOINTMENT. TRAINING EVENTS ARE SCHEDULED TO BE HELD EACH FISCAL YEAR. THE FEBRUARY 2024 OTRAT EVENT WAS HELD IN MINERAL WELLS. IT PROVIDED TRAINING FOR APPROXIMATELY 57 PARTICIPANTS. A VIRTUAL OTRAT EVENT WAS HELD ONLINE IN JULY 2024. IT PROVIDED TRAINING FOR APPROXIMATELY 76 PARTICIPANTS.
