Church Planting Leadership launched the Harvest Teams Initiative. An effort to accelerate evangelistic growth globally by training "Harvest Like Jesus" principles online and in-person, sending trainees on trips to put those principles into practice, and mobilizing regional Harvest Teams to share the gospel and gather faith beginners into discovery groups. a) In June and July, the initial planning and research began to develop a method for scaling up the principles CPL had been teaching for years. b) In August and September, a team of 3 volunteers was gathered in person and virtually to develop more detailed plans for the initiative. c) In October, a start-up grant was given to help launch the new initiative "Harvest Teams." d) In November and December, CPL engaged three contractors to help organize systems and plans, recruit other volunteers, help with fundraising efforts, and build a website. e) The first "Harvest Trip" occurred in December to support the efforts of a church plant in Reno, Nevada.

Church Planting Leadership was involved in the training of ministry leaders in the areas of Evangelistic Church Planting and Conversion Growth for existing churches in the USA and East Asia. Events and Training Programs: (1) Prepared for Church Planting and Conversion Growth consultations which CPL conducted during the year. (2) Consulted with various church planting leaders via phone, email, and face to face. (3) Training materials were developed for Leadership Events and for several churches. (4) On the leadership team for Compass Church in San Diego near SDSU and involved in speaking and training and encouraging young leaders and teaching Bible studies. (5) Did site visits to new churches and then consulted with the church planters afterwards. (6) In April, took a training trip to a new church started in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan in 2022.
Our part-time mission manager and bookkeeper assisted with managing international travel and the business aspects of the organization, including setting up the Harvest Teams Initiative.
