THE FOUNDATION AWARDED SCHOLARSHIPS TO 19 STUDENTS. THE FIELDS OF STUDY INCLUDED NURSING, RADIOLOGY, TECHNOLOGY, PHYSICAL THERAPY, PRE-MED AND LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY. THE STUDENTS WERE SELECTED BY THE VOLUNTEER ADVISORY COUNCIL WITH OVERSIGHT FROM HUMAN RESOURCES. EACH STUDENT MUST SUBMIT AN APPLICATION. APPLICANTS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE AT LEAST A 3.30 GRADE POINT AVERAGE TO BE ELIGIBLE. THERE WERE ALSO 2 ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED. THE STUDENTS WERE SELECTED BY THE SPORTS MEDICINE SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE WITH MEMBERS FROM THE DEPARTMENT AND A FOUNDATION REPRESENTIVE. EACH STUDENT MUST SUBMIT AN APPLICATION.
