THE TEEN HEALTH CENTER, INC. STRENGTHENS THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF GALVESTON'SYOUTH THROUGH EASILY ACCESSIBLE, SCHOOL-BASED CARE. CLINICS ARE CONVENIENTLY LOCATEDIN MIDDLE SCHOOLS AND HIGH SCHOOLS TO MEET STUDENTS' HEALTH CARE NEEDS WITHOUTMISSING TOO MUCH CLASS TIME. PARENTS DO NOT HAVE TO MISS WORK TO TAKE THEIR CHILDRENTO THE DOCTOR, AND SICK PATIENTS ARE ALMOST ALWAYS SEEN WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THEREQUEST. MOST PATIENTS ARE STUDENTS IN THE SCHOOLS WHERE CLINICS ARE LOCATED, BUTCOMMUNITY MEMBERS 21 YEARS AND YOUNGER ARE WELCOME TO RECEIVE CARE AT ANY TEEN HEALTHCENTER CLINIC.TEEN HEALTH'S FIVE MEDICAL CLINICS ARE MANAGED BY LICENSED PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS ANDOVERSEEN BY A BOARD-CERTIFIED DOCTOR IN PEDIATRICS AND BEHAVIORAL HEALTH. MEDICALSERVICES INCLUDE EXAMINATION, DIAGNOSIS, AND TREATMENT OF ACUTE AND CHRONIC ILLNESS;IMMUNIZATIONS FOR ELIGIBLE PATIENTS; WELL-CHILD EXAMS; WELL-WOMAN EXAMS; ANDTREATMENT OF MINOR INJURIES. ALL OF THESE SERVICES, INCLUDING LAB WORK, ARE OFFEREDAT NO CO
