The Harris County Hospital District Foundation strives to make a difference in the lives of the patients and residents of Harris County that are served by the Harris Health System as well as the all-important doctors, nurses, and staff who care for these patients. We serve to fund and support programs that reach out into our community to provide care for the area population who need it the most. We make an impact by working hand-in-hand with the Harris Health Administration to fund projects and initiatives that have been identified under the Harris Health Strategic Plan in the community. Continued on Schedule O Our work also aims to enhance the quality of the workplace found at Harris Health facilities for all employees. Some of the Harris Health programs include (but are not limited to): Heart Health Initiative, Nursing Leadership and Education, Shattered Dreams, Trauma Prevention and Outreach Programs, School of Diagnostic Medical Imaging, Employee Disaster Relief Program, Cancer Resource Center, ACLS Training and more.
