General Program: In 2025, Capacitar programs nationally and internationally served thousands of people from 18 countries and 4 US states. Because of the popular education methodology, local teams multiplied the teachings so that many thousands more received the benefit of learning the Capacitar practices in all of the countries served. Capacitar International organized and implemented 6 Global Gatherings: 4 in English and 2 in Spanish. The Spanish language Global Gathering were a collaboration with Capacitar Panama. These gatherings bring together people who have taken Capacitar trainings from Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas and who continue to share what they have learned within their own families, communities, groups and organizations. The gatherings offer new insights into healing and transformation and also serve as a forum where people from around the world can share their thoughts and experiences and solidifies the international teams.Response to Climate Disasters and Gender Violence Healing: Zoom or internet outreach Trauma Trainings were offered by Capacitar teams in Indonesia and the Philippines in response to the various disasters. In African countriesDR Congo, Rwanda and Tanzaniatrauma healing trainings were offered to women and youth who are dealing with trauma and gender violence. Capacitar International continue to train and mentor facilitators around the world so they, in turn, provide workshops and outreach to their communities, especially to those affected by poverty, violence or are refugees or immingrants.California Program: An advanced formation was held in person at Holy Spirit Retreat Center. Participants had all attended previous trainings and share what the learned in health care, education, work with children, work with immigrants and refugees. Workshops were held for immigrants along the US/California Mexico border to give people tools to manage the stress and trauma of their life on the border awaiting clearance to enter the US.The four module Foundation program was held on zoom for both local, national and international participants, who work in the fields of health care, mental health care, education, and immigrant and refugee organizations.

International Program: In 2025, Capacitar International teams facilitated hundreds of workshops for thousands of people in person and via Zoom technology with many more thousands benefiting from the popular education multiplier effect. Trainers offered workshops in the following places: the USA (California, Texas, and Arizona), Mexico, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panam, Argentina, Chile, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, England, Wales, Germany, Israel, Japan, South Korea, The Philippines, Indonesia, Afghanistan (via Zoom) and parts of Africa. Over 4000 direct participants were either grassroots leaders or professionals who work with communities and organizations who are committed to healing and transforming people impacted by stress, political and domestic violence, natural disasters, trauma and illness (COVID, cancer, HIV/AIDS and disabilities). Manuals and training materials were produced, published and translated. The Capacitar website continued to be updated to offer materials and videos and make available many more healing resources in 42 different languages. In fulfilling its mission of healing ourselves, healing our world, Capacitar International trainers provided its four-module foundation training in healing and transformation, advanced trainings and workshops to more than 1000 people.The following in-person trainings were facilitated directly by Capacitar International trainers: in Germany 2 modules of the foundation training, one train-the trainers and 3 additional outreach workshops; in Wales one advanced formation training; in England one advanced and one foundation module; in Ireland, 2 foundation trainings, 2 advanced trainings and 4 additional outreach workshops; in Scotland 1 foundation training and 1 advanced training ; In El Salvador 2 advanced workshops for three NGOs, 2 advanced workshops for an association of midwives plus one workshop for seniors; In Ciudad Juarez, Mexico one foundation training. The Zoom program provided all the modules of the foundation training for Spanish-speaking community leaders in Central America who work to promote health and well-being in their families, communities and organizations; 10 workshops for the staff and teachers at a school in Nicaragua to help teachers deal with stress and trauma and with training on how to share the healing practices with their students; the four-module foundation training was also provided for men and women in the Philippines who work with organizations and groups for health and well-being. Also on zoom were two Teaching the Practices Workshops for those who have attended Capacitar trainings and want to improve their skill in multiplying by sharing with other people and groups. This was a collaborative effort of Capacitar International and Capacitar Scotland.Beginning in December 2025 and continuing into 2026, a Capacitar International trainer is teaching a class-- Body-Mind-Spirit Community Practices for Working with Trauma--for students at the School of Social Work and Social Justice of the Episcopal University in Haiti. Eleven of the 12 students have been forcibly displaced by gang violence. They are using the tools for themselves to deal with stress and trauma and will have them to share with their clients as they become social workers.
