AFRICAN ENVIRONMENTAL FILM FOUNDATIONAEFF ACCOMPLISHMENTS 1st Oct 2024- 30th Sept 2025The whole year has been taken up by the AEFF team with distribution negotiations, for a Tv agreement of TSAVO a MOMENT IN TIME, beginning with Nation Television. After more than a year was spent on this project it did not materialise with a Broadcast date. After numerous meetings and exchanges of correspondence, we had signed a Broadcast agreement. they did not continue discussions. No reason was given why they did not continue contact. We then investigated other African distribution outlets. Finally we settled on a company called Multichoice, an umbrella TV distribution company for several southern African countries. We discovered that they had just been bought by Canal+ (Canal Plus) a huge French film and media organisation, with worldwide contacts.. Multichoice operations were initially affected by this take over so they were slow to be able to deal with our offer of the series. However, with perseverance on both sides we have almost reached a position where we can go ahead.Multichoice have asked for some adjustments to the length of the series and we will shortly begin to make these adjustments. Then we understand they will make a full agreement.Simon Trevor Director : Series
