Enrichment and Community Outreach Theater 150 provided year round youth performing arts programs across three sessions: Fall/Winter, Spring and Summer. Each sesssion featured a main stage musical theater production along with enrichment classes in musical theater dance, youth chorus,drama,and Shakespeare. Serving 250 youth in grades K-10, with a total of 400 youth(unique and duplicate registrations combined), the program drew students from throughout Ventura County-35% from OUSD public schools,35% from Ojai private schools, and 30% from Ventura Unified School District and Ventura Charter School. Performance and Outreach Impact Maintaining a main stage theater facility, the organization produced fully realized youth performance each session, with 4-5 casts performing 12-20 shows per production-totaling 60-70 unique performances annually. These productions engaged and inspired up to 12,000 local youth and families. Additionally, the orgnization provided a tuition free drama program for students at Valley Oak Charter School, ensuring broader access to arts education. Employment and Economic Development The program employed up to nine staff members (eight part-time and one full-time) to support both administrative and instructional roles. Staff were compensated with minimum and competitive wages based on experience,education and expertise, employing educators with BA,MA and AA degrees, contributing to the local economy while fostering high quality arts education.
