The Soup Kitchen has been in operation since 2007 and is a volunteer organization except for two employees a part-time Mission Coordinator and a part-time maintenance person. The Mission Coordinator inventories and orders groceries and supplies and makes sure there are an adequate number of volunteers scheduled each day. She also is the liaison between the day-to-day operations of the Soup Kitchen and the Board of Directors. 177 of the 339 volunteers were first-time volunteers in 2023. 6283 volunteer hours were contributed.
