IN 2024 NEON SERVED 1,920 CLIENTS, PROVIDED 6,036 HOURS OF TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, APPROVED AND/OR DISBURSED $1,050,000 IN LOANS TO BUSINESSES. WE HELPED START 224 BUSINESSES, CREATED 225 JOBS, AND RETAINED 718 JOBS. WE CONDUCTED 22 THINKING ABOUT BUSINESS AND FOOD 101 WORKSHOPS. WE LAUNCHED THE FOOD INDUSTRY COHORT SERIES AND WE HELD 4-8 EVENTS. NEON ALSO BROKE GROUND FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEON COLLECTIVE KITCHENS BUILDING, A FOOD BUSINESS INCUBATOR AND COMMERCIAL KITCHEN FACILITY. 90 PERCENT OF NEON CLIENTS ARE BIPOC AND 80 PERCENT ARE AFRICAN AMERICAN.
