After completing required classes covering safety, traffic laws, and maintenance, program participants are eligible to receive a refurbished bicycle. During 2020, 87 individuals received a refurbished bicycle. Recipients have reported using these refurbished bicycles to obtain employment, go back to school, run errands, and otherwise make moves toward improved self-reliance.
