Helping Hand Me Downs served 8,002 children and their families by providing them withclothing, shoes, coats, toys and book along with any baby gear requested. Social workers from a network of over 125 agencies refers families in need. We fill the order, and the social worker picks the items up and delivers them to the family. Most families have 2-3 children and the needs typically included a crib or toddler bed and car seats. Numerous families and children were also served in our coaching program. One on one hour long sessions weekly or bi-weekly with participants help guide their life choices and encourages them to be the best version of themselves.
