OUR MEAL MINISTRY - IT ALL BEGINS WITH A MEAL. MEALS ARE THE VERY HEART AND SOUL OF OUR MINISTRY. LIVING STONES IS DEDICATED TO TACKLING FOOD INSECURITY BY RESCUING FOOD FROM HEALTH CERTIFIED INSTITUTIONS THAT WOULD OTHERWISE THROW IT OUT, AND PROVIDING NOURISHING MEALS TO ALL WHO JOIN US. WE CREATE A WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT WHERE BOTH STRANGERS AND FRIENDS CAN COME TOGETHER AROUND A TABLE. LIVING STONES HAS RESCUED MORE THAN 14,000 POUNDS OF FOOD EACH YEAR. ALL OF THE FOOD WE RESCUE AND PREPARE IS EATEN ON SITE OR TAKEN AWAY IN TO-GO CONTAINERS, AND NO FOOD IS WASTED.
