MCAT offers equipment, channel time, and training to anyone in the Missoula area who wants to make media within the Missoula community. MCAT offers 16 training media production opportunities every week which are advertised heavily through our community television bulletin board and community radio public service announcements. MCAT also provides service to local City and County governments, and the Missoula County Public School System. This year MCAT provided 1200 hours of coverage for City Council, Boards and Commissions and 1000 hours for Missoula County Commissioners and City-County agencies. MCAT offers local community groups up to 12 hours of time to produce media related to their groups missions. In Fiscal Year 2025 257 different groups requested the service resulting in 208 programs. In-kind donations to local Missoula groups have reached over $3.8 million dollars since the program began in 2001.
