The mission of the Sacramento Clean Cities Coalition is to reduce the use of fossil petroleum in the transportation and energy sectors. Our Goal is to provide educational services to vehicle fleet managers and facilities managers at agencies, business and non-profit organizations about alternative and zero-emission fuels, vehicles and technologies as well as job opportunities and transportation solutions and providing transportation solutions and job training for individuals in Disadvantaged Communities . We sponsor, co-sponsor and participate in meetings, webinars, workshops and displays with fuel and technology providers. We co-founded and participate regularly in the Plug-in Electric Vehicle Collaborative (PEV) and the PEV's Disadvantaged Communities Task Force (PEV DAC). The Sacramento Cities Coalition produced multiple fleet related workshops covering small commercial fleet charging, specifications possible with BEVs, training for fleet managers, technicians and specification writers. We produced multiple mobility related projects including Earth Day events, participation in community street fairs and presentations on mobility hubs and multi-family charging strategies.
