The book drive is held the first weeks in August and all books are used in the Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools curriculum. In addition, UCity Connect is a partner and supporter of local programs and non-profits.

Race2Educate is an annual 5k Run/Walk event raising funds to support college scholarships and direct assistance to our University City area schools.The 2020 race was canceled due to COVID.
