We also give sportsmanship awards to High School seniors. Typically, we file a 990-N as we raise less than $50,000 but in 2023 we received a one-time bequest of $406,000 from an estate to renovate the baseball field behind the high school. In 2023 we funded all the requests we received which included basketball uniforms, track uniforms, entrance fees for the Penn Relays, wrestling shoes and senior sportsmanship awards. The total award paid was $3,975. Currently, renovation of the baseball field is planned for Fall 2024 so we did not include the $406,000 as it has not yet been paid out.
