The Grief Center of Southwest Colorado provides grief support to adults and children in private, family based, group, peer, and organizational settings to support those suffering from loss. In 2024, the Center served 478 unduplicated clients. To provide this level of support the Center supervised 9 graduate school interns. The Center collaborates with local and regional school districts, tribes and health departments to meet the needs of individuals both on site and virtually, in a setting that the individuals are most comfortable. Including facilitating the GRASP (Grief Recovery After Substance Passing), Survivors of Suicide Attempt group and CODY Project for International Survivors of Suicide Loss day programming, to name a few.
