Our Positive Workforce Clean Team provided supplemental sanitation along the East 125th Street corridor seven days per week. Our work in public space also included public art projects including the Grandscale Mural Project and We Are New York gate mural project, as well as our annual Winter Lights. We managed three public spaces across East Harlem including the 125th Street Plaza and two Open Streets and programmed them with activities including a year-round farmers market, compost collection, live music, exercise classes and a pop-up mobile library. We also hosted events that were open to the public at large, with the intention of bringing the neighborhood together and supporting our local small businesses, including the Harlem Night Market, Hot Chocolate Bike Rides, Back To Business Walks, Spring Into Fitness Sampler, Denim Day, four restaurant weeks and five community clean-ups.
