Our Leadership Development, Mobilizing, and Electing program work in 2023 focused on the following campaigns: Boost the Budget and Forward Together: We educated residents across Durham about the City budget process. We also organized residents to advocate for issues aligned with our vision of a Durham for all,and we endorsed candidates in the City Council elections aligned with our vision. Through door knocking, house meetings, texting, social media, and community events, we spoke with over 4,000 Durham residents and we reached over 185,000 people.
