2024 saw the launch of a unique collaborative project between West End Arts District, Rhythmix Cultural Works, Radium Presents and the City of Alameda. RISING TIDES is a one-year climate arts initiative featuring extraordinary experiences to educate and inspire community action to positively impact climate change in Alameda and beyond. The initiative has been supported by a generous grant from Bloomberg Philanthropies. As part of the initiative each organization has taken the lead on one anchor arts project. West End Arts District produced Somewhere to Land a series of three performances presented with world renowned vertical dance company BANDALOOP. The performances which celebrated the cities visionary plan to reconvert a section of the former Naval Air Station beak to wetland park, was enjoyed by almost 6000 people in September 2024.

West End Arts District's annual keystone festivals, 'Blues, Brews & BBQ and Fiesta Alameda served an estimated 8000 people with an extended program of music, crafts, art vendors, food and drinks. Fiesta Alameda welcomed crowds of all ages to an expanded footprint on the taxiway at Alameda Point with dance and musical performances representing cultures from throughout central and south America. Blues, Brews and BBQ welcomed crowds to Washington Park with stand out performances from headliners The Dynamic Miss Faye Carol and Mark Hummel. Earlier in the year volunteer painters collaborated with the team from Twin Walls Mural Company to paint the final section of the Life of Flight mural started in 2023.
