Cultiva International has been organized to provide sustainable farming programs in Guatemala. More specifically, the organization provides education in a classroom and hands-on environment to indigenous people in Guatemala in order to help them to develop and refine the skills needed to start and maintain a garden for a steady food source. By providing this sustainable farming education, CI helps individuals to maintain a reliable source of healthy food, thus working to alleviate malnutrition and hunger and improving the quality of life for these individuals and families in need.
