In fiscal year 2024-2025, PRC assisted one in five Pacifica families, supporting the well-being and resilience of its community.Grocery Programs: Groceries are a core basic need and a major expense for everyone. Through PRCs onsite pantry, at offsite grocery distributions, and by delivery, PRC provided groceries to benefit over 174,000 Pacifica children, adults, and seniors, including Thanksgiving assistance, helping the families PRC serves to feed their families and increase food security.

Homeless Programs: PRC is the point of entry for homeless services in Pacifica with the ultimate goal of helping unhoused individuals and families return to housing. Last year, PRC provided street outreach and engagement to 577 unhoused individuals and families in Pacifica and along the San Mateo County coast through Pescadero as part of PRC Unhoused on the Coast (UC) Outreach. Of those served, 22% returned to permanent (23) or temporary (108) housing, including the Pacifica Safe Parking Permit (PSPP) program that launched in June 2022. PRC also provided 684 showers to unhoused Pacificans, helping them prepare for work, job interviews and housing search.

Critical Family Needs: As part of providing a safe place to problem solve with families and individuals for solutions and opportunities that work for them, PRC provided baby formula, diapers, and wipes for 207 babies and their families; bus tickets, taxi vouchers, car repairs, and help with registration and insurance for 284 Pacificans to help them get to and from work, school, and medical appointments; clothing for 154 Pacificans to help them get and stay prepared for work or school; and, access to a computer, printer, fax, and phone, as well as information and referrals, for anyone who needed it.
