In 2023, Vet Treks took a group of volunteers to Kenya and held a sterilization and vaccination clinic alongside multiple local veterinarians. The volunteers also provided training to local veterinarians, vet techs and students. At the end of the program, all unused medical supplies and surgical instruments were donated to the local veterinary clinics. From the campaign in Kenya in 2023, 196 dogs and cats were sterilized, 558 dogs and cats were vaccinated against rabies, and 157 dogs were vaccinated against distemper/parvo during the October 2023 campaign in Loiyangalani, Kenya. A total of 196 surgeries were completed. In 2024, Vet Treks did not go on a campaign so that they could financially prepare for a campaign the following year (2025)
