Hughes Elite Scholars is a college prep, preparing high school juniors and seniors financial aid application through FASA: Fee waivers for ACT and SAT are provided for free. Academic counseling gives free financial aid workshops, services and also prep high school juniors and seniors for college. Hughes Elite Scholars took the kids on college tours and spend time on campus so the kids could get use to college atmosphere. These services were provided to approximately 200 students in the target group. Workshops provided focused on a variety of topics-peer pressure skills, and conflict resolution. Tutorials to students improve grades. These services were available to and provided for approximately 200 students.
