IN 2022, BRIDGECAMP SUCCESSFULLY CREATED CURRICULUM FOR, PLANNED, AND EXECUTED ITS FIRST PILOT CAMP IN AUGUST AT CAMP OAKLEY IN UTAH'S WEBER CANYON, WHERE FIVE FATHER-SON DUOS WERE INVITED TO ATTEND AND PARTICIPATE. OVER A FOUR DAY PERIOD, THEY PARTICIPATED IN VARIOUS ADVENTURE, SERVICE AND LEARNING ACTIVITIES WHERE THEIR RELATIONSHIPS WERE STRENGTHENED AND SKILLS WERE LEARNED TO HELP BUILD STRONGER CONNECTIONS. BESIDES HELPING STRENGTHEN PARENT/TEEN RELATIONSHIPS, THE GROUP CONDUCTED ACTUAL SERVICE PROJECTS FOR THE FOLLOWING GROUPS: REINS (EQUINE THERAPY PROVIDER), CAMP OAKLEY, AND THE PEACEHOUSE. ADDITIONALLY, WORK BEGAN IN 2022 ON THE CREATION OF A PARENT/TEEN WORKBOOK DESIGNED TO GUIDE PARENTS AND TEENS THROUGH ADVENTURE, SERVICE, AND LEARNING EXERCISES THEY CAN ACCOMPLISH AT HOME. THE PUBLISHING OF THE WORKBOOK SHOULD TAKE PLACE IN EARLY 2024.
