The Alliance exists to connect local organizations with each other and valuable resources, mobilize the community to make a difference for vulnerable kids and equip people to support kids in trauma-informed ways. In 2024 we worked directly with 100 local agencies, nonprofits and churches to serve at-risk kids and families in the Greater Sacramento Area. Through the Alliance Love in Action Program which includes donation drives, an emergency supply closet and a custom online needs database, 27,847 items were donated to meet the needs of 12,260 local kids in need through 59 different agencies/nonprofits. The Alliance also furnished 158 safe spaces (either bedrooms or full apartments) for youth entering or aging out of foster care, refugee families or families in crisis. In 2024, The Alliance also provided 1,510 hours of parent training, had 400 leaders and caregivers attend community workshops and 152 families and providers supporting 2,618 kids/teens were equipped with new tools at their annual childhood trauma conference.
