DRCT IS A STATEWIDE ORGANIZATION LARGELY FUNDED BY FEDERAL ENTITIES AND AUTHORIZED BY THE DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES ASSISTANCE AND BILL OF RIGHTS ACT, THE PROTECTION AND ADVOCACY FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH MENTAL ILLNESS ACT, THE PROTECTION AND ADVOCACY FOR INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS ACT, AND OTHER PROTECTION AND ADVOCACY ACTS AND THEIR RESPECTIVE IMPLEMENTING REGULATIONS.
