The organization engages new and experienced entrepreneurs from a wide variety of industries and business sectors. The organization's mission is to coach and mentor startup companies to go from a scalable idea to a revenue-producing business with access to capital investment for rapid growth. In addition to educating entrepreneurs, the organization works to enhance the startup ecosystem through fund development and the education of accredited investors on how to invest in startups. The goal is to create a vibrant startup ecosystem that diversifies Nevada's economy. StartUpNV Inc.'s programs for entrepreneurs: IncubateNV - an online self-paced program for aspiring entrepreneurs. IncubateVegas - a 10-session incubator for underserved founders in Clark County, Nevada. At the end of 2024, Clark County, the grantor, worked with StartUpNV to create a new program, SeedVegas, to grant startup funds to up to 50 of the Incubate Vegas graduates. The program began in early 2025 and will run until July of 2026. AngelNV Due Diligence Bootcamp - a 5 week session that prepares founders to go through Due Diligence performed by the AngelNV Investors. StartUpNV Entrepreneur Readiness Program - 6-session program with Nevada's Small Business Development Center to focus on financial preparedness for investment. Tribal Entrepreneur Development - an 11-session on-site incubator for Nevada tribal organizations. Rural Road Show - outreach to connect rural Nevada entrepreneurs to resources to help them grow and succeed. FounderNV - Speaker Series featuring accomplished founders on various topics. FounderNV Workshops - monthly workshop on specific topics with work product to solve issues or accelerate growth. AccelerateNV - flagship accelerator that comes with a $50k investment from FundNV, a separate for profit entity, and a structured program to progress to the next level of investment. Founders invited to AccelerateNV pledge 1% of their proceeds from an exit to the non-profit for sustainability. StartUpNV's programs for investors: AngelNV investor bootcamp - a hands-on annual 12-week program to teach accredited or Nevada Certified Investors how to invest in startup companies. Results in a minimum $200k investment into a Nevada startup. In 2024, 53 angels invested $290,000 in two Nevada startups. Since inception in 2020, 9 Nevada companies have received investment of more than $1.2 Million. Affiliated Funds: FundNV 1 and 2 - separate for-profit entities that invest in Nevada startups that are accepted into the AccelerateNV program. The funds charge lower fees so that the founders donate 1% of an exit to the non-profit organization.
