REDDING TRAIL ALLIANCE CONTINUTED TO EXPAND ITS ORGANIZATIONAL CAPACITY AND COMMUNITY IMPACT THROUGH TRAIL STEWARDSHIP, RECREATION DEVELOPMENT, VOLUNTEER ENGAGEMENT AND REGIONAL PARTNERSHIPS. TO HELP SUSTAIN AND GROW CORE PROGRAMS (INCLUDING TRAIL MAINTENANCE, TRAIL PLANNING, TRAIL CONSTRUCTION, EVENTS, PARTNERSHIPS AND THE ADOPT-A-TRAIL VOLUNTEER PROGRAM) THE ORGANIZATION LAUNCHED A NEW MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM THAT ALLOWS COMMUNITY MEMBERS TO FINANCIALLY SUPPORT AND STAY CONNECTED TO RTA THROUGH MEMBERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES AND COMMUNITY MEETINGS. RTA CONTINUED TO ADDRESS SIGNIFICANT TRAIL MAINTENANCE NEEDS THROUGHOUT THE REGION DESPITE LIMITED LAND MANAGER CAPACITY, LEVERAGING STRONG VOLUNTEER SUPPORT TO KEEP TRAILS SAFE, ACCESSIBLE AND SUSTAINABLE. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE BLM, RTA ALSO HELPED TRAIN 8 NEW VOUUTEER SAWYERS TO SUPPORT ONGOING STEWARDSHIP EFFORTS. TWO NEW TRAILS WERE COMPLETED, DESIGNED TO IMPROVE RECREATION ACCESS AND USER EXPERIENCE.
