The 2023 Capstone summer research program is the first year of program operation. We successfully hosted the program at Columbia University and the University of Cambridge between July and August, welcoming 80 students and five program instructors. Students lived in college dorms and studied with their instructors in college classrooms. We were able to be self-sustained through student tuition and accommodation fees, so we did not receive any grants for this program. We were also able to help four students waive their accommodation fees.
