In 2024, Kids Above Everything continued to provide mentorship and media arts education to youth ages 1326 across Northeast Denver. KAE integrated media arts programming with mentorship to support authentic learning experiences, wellness practices, and leadership development. We facilitated youth-led projects that promoted self-expression and community engagement through photography, videography, and digital storytelling. Over 75% of our resources were dedicated to direct programming, including mental health supports, media training, and peer mentorship. Participants in our programs reported increased emotional regulation, communication skills, and connection to positive adult role models. Our media interns produced over a dozen original projects, and several advanced to paid creative opportunities in the workforce.
