Potential adoptive homes are screened carefully. Adoptive homes are provided a complete medical history and ongoing support. During the same 12-month period and including dogs already in rescue prior to 1/1/2024, 161 puppies and dogs were adopted or transferred to another rescue partner; 24 remained as adoptable, 4 dogs remained in long-term or hospice foster care and 5 dogs were humanely euthanized as unhealthy/untreatable under Asilomar Accords.
