Metro Effect seeks to help people in unreached urban areas know Jesus. Unreached urban areas can be portions of cities or entire cities where less than 2% of the population is Evangelical Christian. To help people know Jesus, Metro Effect leads short term mission trips and empowers missionary partners and local urban Christians to tell people about Jesus and show people how much Jesus loves them in hopes that they will have faith in Jesus and develop strong relationships with Him.

Indian Ministry Partnerships. Our Indian ministry partnerships were very fruitful in 2021. We met our goal for Life Tree Foundation school of maintaining enrollment to over 100 children despite the pandemic. We provide funds for operating expenses, which helps empower the school to give an excellent, Christ-centered education to children from underprivileged backgrounds, and we give advice to the leadership team. We also partnered with a church planter in the city of Gurgaon to help him and his wife strengthen the 2 churches they oversee. We provide financial assistance and encouragement for them. We also engaged heavily in COVID-19 Relief efforts. The second wave hit hard in India last year, and we helped a partner set up a temporary emergency medical facility to treat COVID-19 patients. We also helped a partner provide more food for those in financial need due to the COVID-19 crisis. We also helped a partner start a Hindi Bible college for more than 30 students. The goal for Indian Ministry Partnerships in 2021 is to help Life Tree Foundation and the church planter in Gurgaon sustain their ministries in 2022 at an equal level to 2021 and to increase enrollment in the Hindi Bible College.
