Impact Litigation: The work we do saves lives. Not only did we advocate and represent the unhoused directly regarding fundamental and disability rights challenges, we litigated critical cases that held municipalities accountable for their violations of civil rights to their constituents and failures to maintain public services required by law. We met our clients where they were to overcome legal barriers to short and long-term housing, public benefits, and health care, which has led to hundreds of those living on the streets finding paths to housing, employment, and independence.

Elder Law: Our support for severely underserved low income older community members improved their independence and security, and allowed them to age with dignity. Services included end of life planning such as advanced health care directives, powers of attorney, wills, and estates, as well as disability accommodations advocacy. We amplified our outreach through education and limited services clinics coordinated with partner organizations.

The multi-pronged approach included community outreach, presentations and clinics, as well as direct representation. Our dedication to families in need has let to many students school performance and well-being rise.
