In 2021, RNY, in conjunction with Reclaim New York conducted a program via Webinar on the Freedom of Information Law and how to use it to obtain information.It also posted the webinar on the website (of Reclaim), and allowed for follow up questions. It also ran a webinar on the redistricting disputes in NY and what the current status of the effort is. It further sent information/educational material regarding contacting the NY Board of Elections to obtain information regarding voting locations or how to obtain absentee ballots.
