Stepping Up ministers to individuals who suffer from drug, alcohol, and other substance abuse or who have been recently released from prison, homeless, or the victim of domestic violence. The organization strives to treat those who are in need and unable to continue with their lives on their own without significant help. Treatment comes from both a religious ministry standpoint, as well as therapeutic and similar treatment programs. Treatment from both fronts is designed to provide participants with programs designed to develop life skills, work-skills, training, and to help those who have been emotionally disturbed, homeless or otherwise impacted by substance abuse and are in need of treatment so that they may again become responsible and self-supporting citizens, ultimately reintegrating back into the community.
